Editorial team and standards
This page says who is behind Gold IRA Savings, and, just as important, what we do not claim. Gold IRAs involve retirement money and taxes, so you should know how the guides are made and who stands behind them.
Who publishes this site?
The site is published under the name Gold IRA Savings. Our about page describes it as an independent educational site about Gold and precious metals IRAs for people in the United States. You can reach the editorial team at contact@goldirasavings.com or through the contact page.
Does the site name individual authors or reviewers?
Not at this time. The guides are published under the site name, and no guide is credited to a named person. We have not published biographies, photographs or professional credentials for any writer or reviewer, and no page on this site says that a licensed professional reviewed it.
We say this plainly because a name next to a guide can suggest a qualification we cannot show. When the site names a writer or reviewer, this page will be updated with who the person is, what their role is and which guides they worked on.
What does this mean for how you use the guides?
The guides are general education. They explain rules and trade-offs, and they point to the primary source for each rule: the Internal Revenue Code, IRS publications, court decisions and regulator releases. They are not personal tax, legal or investment advice. Where a decision depends on your own situation, such as a rollover, a withdrawal or a tax filing, please talk with a qualified professional, such as a CPA, enrolled agent, attorney or financial adviser. Our financial disclaimer has the full wording.
How are guides researched and checked?
Our editorial policy and fact-checking and sources policy set the standard. In short:
| Step | What we do |
|---|---|
| Research | Rules are taken from the primary source: the statute, regulation, IRS publication or court decision. Company information is labeled as the company's own claim unless an independent source confirms it. |
| Drafting | We use AI tools to help research and draft guides, and we say so in the editorial policy. |
| Verification | Before a guide is published, each factual claim is compared with the source it cites. Claims that cannot be matched to a source are removed or rewritten. |
| Dating | Each guide shows when it was last updated and when its facts were last checked. The check date is the date the verification took place. |
| Review schedule | Pages are re-reviewed on the schedule in our update policy. Fees and company information are reviewed every three months. |
| Corrections | Errors are fixed once confirmed. Material corrections are listed with a date in the corrections log. |
Our rules for company pages are on the company research methodology page, and the checks you can run yourself are in how to evaluate a Gold IRA company. We do not rank companies, name a "best" provider, predict prices or give personalized advice.
How are we funded, and does that affect the guides?
The advertising and affiliate disclosure explains how the site earns money and what that never changes. Companies we write about do not pay for coverage or favorable wording, and they do not review articles before publication.
How can you report a mistake or ask a question?
Email contact@goldirasavings.com with the page address, what looks wrong and, if you can, a link to a source that shows the correct information. We cannot give personal investment, tax or legal advice by email.
